What We Offer

Our training and education programs are designed to meet providers where they are — whether in a clinical setting, a community organization, or online:

  • Continuing Education – Statewide in-person sessions and virtual webinars offering CME credit hours, available throughout the year.
  • Patient Engagement Workshops – Interactive sessions on Motivational Interviewing, Social Determinants of Health, and Whole Person Care to enhance patient-centered practice.
  • Expert Consultations – Direct access to HIV specialists for clinical guidance and support.
  • Clinical Preceptorships – Hands-on learning opportunities alongside Infectious Disease and HIV specialists at the University of Arizona’s Petersen HIV Clinics and Prisma Healthcare in Phoenix.

We offer organizational development programming on sex-positive and inclusive healthcare practices, professional development for medical case managers, and strategies to advance health equity for the communities most impacted by HIV.

Arizona Department of Health Services Funded Projects

DISH-AZ is an Academic Detailing (AD) program that provides individualized, ongoing education and support to Arizona healthcare providers and staff, helping them adopt evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes across HIV, STIs, Hepatitis C, and sexual health. Through DISH-AZ, clinics can schedule one-on-one sessions with experienced Detailers tailored to their team’s specific needs.

We also offer a dedicated Hepatitis C program. Our Hepatitis C Navigators provide personalized support, guide patients through the care continuum and help reconnect patients to essential treatment services.
