Joins the Office of Regional Health Operations on March 30, 2022 2PM-3:15PM EST for Women, Girls, and HIV/AIDS: Current Perspectives on Policy, Practice, and Prevention.

In observance of National Women and Girls HIV and AIDS Awareness Day, the Regional Women’s Health Analysts (RWHAs) across 10 HHS Office of Regional Health Operations (ORHO) will host a 75-minute webinar that features three panelists and their perspectives on effective HIV prevention strategies, especially for women and girls of color.  The webinar will feature a roundtable-style format with the purpose of highlighting each panelist’s expertise in HIV prevention programs, practices, or policies.  In addition, the webinar will cover current epidemiologic data on HIV infection amongst women and girls in the US, updated CDC clinical guidelines for PrEP, and policies that make HIV prevention education and PrEP more widely available.
