Upcoming Webinar: Helping CBOs apply for $121M in HRSA funding for a Local Community-Based Workforce to Increase COVID-19 Vaccine Access (June 2, 2021)
Posted May 28, 2021Background: On May 20th, HRSA announced a new time-sensitive funding opportunity – $1 million grants available to local Community-Based Organizations. The purpose of these funds is to mobilize a Community-Based Workforce to educate and assist individuals in accessing and receiving COVID-19 vaccinations and support “vulnerable and medically underserved communities, including racial and ethnic minority groups and individuals living in areas of high social vulnerability.”
With applications due on June 9, 2021, the national Community-Based Workforce Alliance and its partners have organized a special event to help as many CBOs as possible, especially CBOs that serve historically marginalized communities and with limited HRSA funding experience, to pursue this opportunity and get funded. We will be joined by HRSA’s national expert and main point of contact for this funding opportunity.
Objectives: By the end of this special educational event, participants will be able to:
- Learn more about proposal requirements for the $121MM HRSA grant opportunity – “Local Community-Based Workforce to Increase COVID-19 Vaccine Access“
- Hear and share tips and resources to strengthen your proposal based on HRSA’s review criteria
- Identify and share technical assistance resources and opportunities
- Connect with peers & learn more about the Community-Based Workforce Alliance
