In partnership with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, we would like to invite interested persons to consider being part of the Community Health Leadership Initiative [CHLI] Pilot Project.

This pilot program, which will be conducted from September – December 2021, will introduce participants to the field of sexual and drug user health, and provide opportunities (training, mentorship, and peer support) to consider pursuing a career in this field, with a particular focus on HIV/HCV/STI jobs.

Candidates should:

  • Be 18 or older
  • Have lived experience or other relevant experience with a community that has been disproportionately impacted by HIV, HCV, or STIs
  • Be able to devote 2-4 hours per week during September – December 2021
  • Have a strong interest in Sexual Health and Drug Use Health careers (they can be entirely new to the field, or have recently started a job in the field)
  • Have a current employer who will support them to participate on paid job time (Other participants may be considered and will be compensated on a case-by-case basis)

If interested, please fill out our INTEREST FORM by September 15, 2021 here: https://forms.gle/tbGpip95WfPFDTAKA.

If you know of someone who may be interested, please share this posting with them.
