Sandra Cuevas serves as Director of the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center (Pacific AETC) – Southern California Region at UCLA. She leads regional efforts to strengthen the HIV workforce through clinical education, technical assistance, practice transformation, and interprofessional training across Southern California. With more than 10 years of experience in public health, healthcare workforce development, and program leadership, Sandra has directed large-scale initiatives focused on HIV prevention and care, health equity, healthcare quality improvement, and provider education. Her work brings together healthcare systems, public health agencies, community-based organizations, and academic institutions to improve access to high-quality care for communities disproportionately affected by HIV. Sandra is a doctoral candidate in Public Policy at the University of Southern California, where her work focuses on health policy and systems change. She is committed to advancing innovative strategies that strengthen healthcare delivery, expand access to evidence-based services, and improve health outcomes across diverse communities throughout Southern California.
