Description: COVID-19 vaccines have begun to be distributed across the country. Expectations are that frontline healthcare workers and extremely frail older adults will be the first to receive it, but there’s much ambiguity on when a vaccine will be available to people with HIV, or their providers  Dr. Christian Ramers will provide an overview of Phase 3 clinical trial data on the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccine candidates. He’ll review what is known about the plan for administering the COVID-19 vaccination to different populations, and help us ascertain when we can reasonably expect providers and their patients with HIV can receive the vaccine….
