WHITE PAPER ANTI-RACIST CLINICAL CARE: Improving Health Outcomes For Black Women (BWLI)

An anti-racist approach to clinical care is critical to advancing racial health equity for Black women. The Black Women’s Learning Institute (BLWI) are partners in implementing this approach in healthcare institutions across the United States. This white paper provides recommendations at the individual, interpersonal, community, and organizational levels to dismantle and eliminate racism in healthcare and clinical practice.

Black women deserve to live long, healthy, happy lives.

The Black Women’s Learning Institute (BWLI) is dedicated to promoting health equity for Black women across the lifespan. We focus on serving Black women across the United States, prioritizing the southern states with culturally-relevant, evidence-based public health education programs empowering people at the individual, community, interpersonal, and systems levels to improve mechanisms for prevention, treatment and care, ultimately improving health outcomes for all.
