This session is part of NAHEWD’s national webinar series Bridging HIV, HCV, and SUD: Innovations in the Field. The series will highlight various innovative models and approaches to treating substance use disorder (SUD) in people at risk for and living with HIV.

This presentation will share the steps the team took to identify gaps in care related to the opioid epidemic and discuss successful approaches. Upon completion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

Identify possible barriers to addressing opioid use disorder in people with and at risk for HIV.

Describe possible models of care for addressing the opioid epidemic in people with and at risk for HIV.
