Register Now: ROC the Ribbon: A World AIDS Day Event (November 30, 2022)

Posted November 16, 2022

Today, nearly 40% of the U.S. population living with HIV/AIDS is 55 years of age and over. As the population with HIV/AIDS ages, it is critical that collaborative partnerships be developed among the AIDS and aging communities. The aging network has been the source for decades of social determinants of health services for older Americans, their caregivers, and families. These services must be readily accessible to those aging with HIV/AIDS to address complex physical and mental health and social needs in an equitable and person-centered approach. Join ROC 4 Aging+ and special guests as they bring awareness to the current needs and the foreseeable future of people with HIV ages 50 and older. The event will include a real and honest discussion of what is needed in policy, programs, and communications for persons with HIV to age with dignity, optimal health, and economic security.
