Primary care providers (PCPs) have long been a source of reliable health information and care to individuals of all ages. Studies show that PCPs identify two key barriers to prescribing PrEP — limited knowledge about PrEP and concerns about insurance coverage. This webinar will focus on screening practices and practical strategies that increase the knowledge, comfort, and skills of PCPs to prescribe PrEP.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be better able to:
- Identify strategies to engage patients of all ages for PrEP.
- Describe best practices for integrating PrEP into their standard practice.
- Identify best practices to support patient adherence and persistence while on PrEP.
