Posted November 22, 2023In-Person Attendance Option
Providers are invited to attend the Eisenhower Health Inaugural HIV Interprofessional Symposium being held at the Annenberg Health Sciences Building at Eisenhower, Rancho Mirage, California on December 2, 2023. The symposium is fully accredited by the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences for attendees to receive continuing education credits (CEs).
The Eisenhower Health HIV Interprofessional Symposium guiding principles are to educate and train health care professionals to address the health care needs of people with HIV (PWH) through interprofessional team-based learning, education, and collaboration.
The educational activity is focused towards the members of the frontline team caring for persons with or at risk of acquiring HIV. This includes physicians, advanced practice nurses/NPs, PAs, nurses, pharmacists, and medical case managers (including social workers), and other allied health professionals in both the primary care and specialist settings. CEs will be available after final program evaluation.
In addition, the educational activity includes advances in HIV/AIDS medicine and issues related to patient care and provides an opportunity to interact and network with thought leaders in HIV, including keynote speaker Eric S. Daar, MD, Chief, Division of HIV Medicine, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Daar will discuss HIV Pathogenesis and Cure.
Virtual Attendance Option
