E-Learning Portal

Based at the PAETC—Los Angeles Area, the Pacific AETC’s E-Learning Portal (https://hivtrainingcdu.remote-learner.net/) is a free, 508 compliant, HIV online learning site offering continuing education credits to RNs, LCSWs, and MFTs. A free PrEP toolkit is available on the home page. Curricula cover a variety of topics, such as:

  • Heroin and HIV
  • Crack Cocaine and HIV
  • Scaling Up PrEP Use in Black MSM
  • Substance Use, HIV and Older Adults
  • Substance Abuse Screening and Brief Intervention in HIV Settings

Several of the trainings have been developed in collaboration with sister organizations such as the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)-funded Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center (PSATTC). Archived HIVLN sessions are also available for self-study.
