Join HealthHIV on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 12:00pm Eastern for a 75-minute live webinar featuring two experts who will discuss the unique challenges, opportunities, and strategies for outreach and engagement of people experiencing homelessness (PEH) in PrEP services. This is the second webinar in a two-part series, PrEP for People Experiencing Homelessness: From Outreach to Adherence, that aims to educate healthcare professionals on delivering equitable and individualized PrEP care to PEH.
Over the course of the 1.25 credits/contact hours certified activity, faculty will discuss structural interventions to enhance engagement of PEH in PrEP care and improve equity in PrEP access. This webinar includes faculty that have applied innovative models for PrEP care among PEH, such as mobile healthcare or street medicine and pharmacy-based models, and faculty with experience advocating for housing for people living with or at risk for HIV. Faculty will discuss how expanded referral relationships and partnerships in the community with housing assistance/providers can improve equity in PrEP access for PEH.
This webinar will be interactive with participant polling, live Q&A periods, and links to additional resources to navigate patients onto PrEP. |
