The Northeast/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center in collaboration with Columbia University’s Behavioral Health Program is hosting the following webinar:

Topic: Struggling with Loss – Discussion of Depression and Grief for People of Color with HIV affected by the Pandemic

Speaker: Jackie Phillips

Learning Objectives:

  • Review the definition of loss as it relates to cultures and COVID-19
  • Explore a newer view of the Stages of Grief
  • Explore the clinical definition of depression and what it looks likes in different cultures
  • Explore the task of mourning and pain recognition

When: August 11. 2021

Time: 8 am PST

This program will be of interest to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, and mental health practitioners. Other disciplines are also welcome to attend.
