NAHEWD's Safety Optimization (Harm Reduction) for Sexual & Gender Diverse People Who Participate in Chemsex Flyer

The next webinar in NAHEWD’s Bridging HIV & SUD: Innovations in the Field webinar series, Safety Optimization (Harm Reduction) for Sexual & Gender Diverse People Who Participate in Chemsex, will be on Friday, April 1st, at 12 pm ET. Chemsex, or the phenomenon of sexualized drug use, is a concern for providers caring for people living with HIV and those at risk. While Chemsex is not a new phenomenon, the recent uptick in contaminated drug supply, COVID-19 retention in care challenges, and the promotion of geosocial networking apps have created new challenges for HIV care providers. It will be presented by Jona Tanguay, MMSc, PA-C, AAHIV.

Information on the other sessions in the series can be found on NAHEWD’s event page. The recordings and presentation slides for the previous sessions in the series can be found on NAHEWD’s resource page.
