Don’t miss out on this impactful opportunity to advise on capacity-building in the field of disease prevention, care, and treatment through the lens of equity!

Training & Equity (THE) Collaborative provides capacity building, technical assistance, and training to healthcare organizations in the Western Region. Housed within the UCSF Department of Family & Community Medicine, programs include the Pacific AIDS Education & Training Center, Alameda County Care Connect Skills Development Unit, and Gilead Sciences’ Age Positively Care & Wellness Center. These programs exemplify THE Collaborative’s desire to work collaboratively across systems to improve the health and wellbeing of people with chronic disease, and the providers that care for them.

Now, THE Collaborative is recruiting for a 2022-2023 Regional Advisory Board.

THE Collaborative’s Board will meet four times a year for ninety-minute virtual sessions. The agendas will be developed by board facilitator, our board co-chair, and THE Collaborative senior management team. Members will be asked to review content, provide feedback, and share best practices based on their experience. Board members will be provided $125 honoraria for each meeting, with additional work compensated.
