HIV Tools Care App Promo

HIV Care Tools is the free new AETC Program app that supports health care providers with point-of-care tools for HIV screening, prevention, and care.

The app includes reference material, tools and resources for busy clinicians serving people with or at risk for HIV. Aligned with the strategies of the Ending the HIV Epidemic and information from the AIDS Education & Training Center Program, HIV Care Tools provides the most up-to-date information on HIV diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

HIV Care Tools is free to use and can be accessed anywhere. It is available through the App Store and Google Play for Apple and Android devices.

HIV Care Tools is for:

  • Expert-to-novice clinicians
  • Clinic staff & care team members
  • Pharmacists
  • Health profession students, residents & fellowsIt can be used in a range of clinical settings, including emergency departments, primary care, and STD and reproductive health clinics.

HIV Care Tools provides quick guidance on HIV testing, prescribing and monitoring PEP, PrEP, rapid initiation of antiretroviral therapy. It also offers validated mental health screening tools and commonly needed clinical calculators. HIV Care Tools even offers one-touch access to phone‐based, free, national clinician warmlines for expert help and support through the AETC National Clinician Consultation Center.
