National Transgender HIV Testing Day

National Transgender HIV Testing Day (NTHTD) is observed each year on April 18. This day is an opportunity to recognize the importance of routine HIV testing and status awareness, as well as HIV prevention and patient-centered care for transgender and gender non-binary people.

Partners and organizations can use the Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign resources to highlight ways to reduce HIV stigma and promote testing and treatment for transgender people.

The Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign includes resources and partnerships aimed at stopping HIV stigma and promoting HIV testingprevention, and treatment. This campaign is part of the national Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) Initiative.  Let’s Stop HIV Together empowers communities, partners on the ground, and healthcare providers to reduce stigma among all Americans, prevent HIV among the hardest-hit populations, and help people with HIV stay healthy.
