US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Seeks Comments on New Hepatitis C Screening Recommendations  (CDC’s Viral Hepatitis Program): CDC’s Viral Hepatitis Program is seeking stakeholder review and comment on the draft updated CDC Recommendations for Hepatitis C Screening among Adults pdf. The recommendations propose hepatitis C screening at least once in a lifetime for all adults age 18 years and older, and for all pregnant women during each pregnancy; except in settings where the prevalence of hepatitis C infection is less than 0.1%. CDC invites:

  • Suggestions for revisions, edits, and new additions
  • Comments on contemporary issues and new evidence
  • Comments on potential implementation barriers, challenges, and lessons learned

The comment period closes on December 27, 2019. Comments can be submitted electronically or via snail-mail. Submit comments and more details
