August Webinar Series – Improving Services for Youth Living with HIV: Lessons from the Field

The Building Futures project, funded by HRSA’s HAB, is designed to identify best practices for enhancing services to youth living with HIV (YLWH) 13-24, contributing to better outcomes in both retention and viral load suppression. This webinar series will cover the experiences of Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)-funded providers in developing and enhancing these services and will highlight a newly developed TA toolkit aimed at improving youth viral suppression and treatment adherence. The following webinars will be presented by the Building Futures project team in partnership with youth-serving RWHAP providers:
- Infrastructure Development – August 9, 2018, 2-3:30 pm ET – will discuss staff recruitment and retention, improving communication with youth, and LGBTQ-friendly policies.
- Informing Program Development – August 16, 2018, 2-3:30 pm ET – will discuss gathering feedback from youth and data-driven programming.
- Wraparound Services – August 23, 2018, 2-3:30 pm ET. – will discuss youth support groups, support service needs, and re-engaging youth lost to care.
- Clinical Service Models – August 30, 2108, 2-3:30 pm ET – will discuss youth-centered services and interdisciplinary care teams.
