This interactive training curriculum from the Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center with the University of California Los Angeles and Charles R. Drew University Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center, offers HIV providers from all disciplines with a detailed overview of crack cocaine, the neurobiological/medical consequences of its use, prevalence of abuse among individuals living with HIV, and behavioral and risk reduction strategies to employ when working with HIV patients who use crack cocaine. In addition to didactic information, the curriculum makes available ARS (audience response system) questions as well as optional group activities/role plays throughout the presentation.
