PAETC Unit Manager and I-TECH Project Manager
Tom Foster has more than 30 years in non-profit and healthcare planning and administration. Before joining the PAETC, he most recently worked in pediatric HIV/AIDS clinical research and prevention education at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. As PAETC Unit Manager, he is responsible for maintaining the PAETC Central Office’s (including the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health, and other grant projects) administrative and financial infrastructure, ensuring internal quality controls, fiscal accountability and regional and international project support. He is also PAETC;s liaison with the Department of Family & Community Medicine and UCSF. As Project Manager for I-TECH, he is the liaison with the University of Washington’s International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH). Tom supports the I-TECH's education, technical assistance, and curriculum development projects in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.
