Asilomar is PAETC’s annual faculty development conference for AIDS educators and trainers in the Pacific and the Northwest Regions (OR, WA, AK, MT, ID). HIV Testing

PAETC local performance sites (LPSs) target medical settings to promote and support expanded and routine HIV testing. This technical assistance/capacity building/training model involves key decision-makers, and provides assistance to implement clinic policies and procedures, supporting HIV testing as well as staff training. Rapid Testing in Labor and Delivery (RTLD)

The RTLD project works with hospital-based Labor and Delivery clinicians in California to assist with implementation of HIV rapid testing for women in labor with no previous HIV test results. PAETC works to ensure the prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV, a proven process that is 98% effective. PAETC offers a wide range of free, high-quality technical assistance services, such as: individualized training and consultation; assistance with writing and implementing policies, procedures and protocols; and current recommendations for the use of antiretroviral drugs.
