Please join us for the 26th Annual HIV/AIDS Review to be held at the Finley Community Center, Person Auditorium, at 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $40 (or $60 with CME credit). Please see below for continuing education information.
Topics include: HIV Update 2019; Resiliency Medicine: Immunizing for Stress; Strategies to Promote Staff Resilience; and Creating a Resilient Community Using Mind-Body Skills. This Live activity, 26th Annual HIV/AIDS Review, with a beginning date of 05/18/2019, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 5.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professional education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and have been approved for continuing education by the Medical Board of California.
This course meets the qualifications for 5 contact hours of continuing education credit for nurses as required by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CPE 13741. Bay Area North & Central Coast AIDS Education & Training Center is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs. Bay Area North & Central Coast AIDS Education & Training Center maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. This course meets the qualifications for 5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider # 133640. Any activities within the program that do not have instructional time are not offered for continuing education credit. Course completion certificates will be awarded upon completion of course evaluations.
Documentation must be retained by the Participant for a period of four years after the conclusion of this program.
